I also had trouble finding this dimensional info and saved a hi-res version. Happy to share it with you, but I'm out of town until Friday 2/15 and it's on my server at home and I don't have access to it while I'm on the road.

Please write me back at elhalpern@gmail.com later this week and I'm copy you on the original, and maybe on the link.... if I captured thatinfo and saved it at the time.

Sadly, I've put my ciclop aside for a while. When I run with one laser it's OK, but slow and far from perfect. When I run with two laser the two images it captures are way out of phase.and this discouraged me..even after I worked through the aiming and lighting upgrades. Any ideas?

Look forward to copying you on the info. Regards, Eric

Eric, do you have a higher resolution copy of (or link to) the diagram that has the various measurements and angles for the Ciclop???

The one you included is very fuzzy and hard to read.

I have searched the web and have not seen any other doc on the ciclop that provides this information in this detail, and am wondering if it would help me to resolve some issues I am experiencing.

thanks in advance!

I appreciate the response. You could use self tapping screws for the hinge, but I feel the laser set-screw and the angle adjust screws need to be traditional to allow for routine adjustment. Granted, the laser barrel rotation shouldn't change once set, but the length is so short a self tapper might be problematic. A future mod for this model is possibly a hex nut recess under the bottom angle clamping screw.

PLA is indeed a bitch to drill and tap because its low melting point and therefore PLA soften and sticks to the drill/tap. So better use PETG I consider the best compromise for FDM.
For permanent assembly, better use self tapping screws for plastic or sheet metal otherwise just threaded brass inserts. No need to buy them, plenty of these in old household appliances, printers, scanners, portable PC. It is all metric M2 M2.5 M3 even M4
