Excellent design, well done!

i tried to print this thing. how did you manage all that overhang?
Please refer to the follwing picture.. got some black PLA to spare -.-

Supports. Same as you. Inside surface is a little rough, though, but the supports (mostly) peeled off as expected. Maybe you want to try a bigger gab between support and part or ... glorious sanding

This is a very cool idea! Kudos to you!

Very cool idea -- can you share some printing details? Are you using supports inside or are you printing it with the vacuum attachment on the build plate. As it's positioned in the STL I'd think the large circular area would just collapse while printing, right?

Of course, supports are needed. Also good adhesion to the build plate is needed, as there are some small areas in the mittle to start with. Without them, the device will collaps under vacuum. Apart forom that it is no magic with this part. After all, I could not print that myself with my shitty old printer

Is it possible for you to add the fusion360 file, so that I can edit it to fit my vacuum

Guess what! I did!
Looking foreward to see makes.

This! Pleaaaase!! :)

may i ask why it is threaded in the middle?

p00ta: Initially, an adjustable depth stop was part of the concept...

what a good thing ,cool mate

Thank you for this thing! Thumbs up to you!
