Lots of sanding time + filling with dough to have a "softer" result.
Different colors in the end but the result is nice I think.

Thank you Steve for the model
Bertrand.

Not only is your post processing work beautiful, but your pictures are a sight to behold!

I checked out your website and love your photography. My daughter is getting married next year and I hope we can find someone as talented as you for the wedding. Too bad you are overseas from us!

If you have the time, I'd love it if you could post your make using the 'post a make' option in the upper left hand panel. The more makes that modelers see posted, the more incentive they have to keep posting more models.

Teamwork,
Steve

Thank you very much :) I hope you find it !
You can check here if you want more landscape photo ;) https://www.facebook.com/bertrand.lamy.photographe/

If I understand correctly, it is to display the images of the users who printed your part? then no problem :)
Bertrand

ya you click this button on the main page of the model and it lets you upload the pic but links it directly to the person who posted it originally like as an example and it lets other people see who's made the model and kind of groups them together on the designer's page

Fantastic pictures on your Facebook page. My wife and I shared some time together browsing the pictures and had a great time. I felt like I traveled around the world! The pictures that included the night stars were especially impressive, since it is rare to see the sky like that in the US anymore.

Personally, I can spend one to two months creating my 3D print designs, but getting a picture of the model to post is the most annoying part of the whole process. I just can't seem to get any decent pictures and finally just post anything that looks just reasonable.

Yes, posting your make is to display the image by makers who printed the design. It helps other people find the models.

Thank you for your time.

Steve

Cute lil dude, 2 down, 3 to go.
Love ya work.
Do you have any MMU models in mind?

I see you are working through the wonderland series. I'd love to see your makes.

MMU coming to Thingiverse by the end of the summer.

Steve

Love your models. This is the first one I have tried printing. About two-thirds of the way through. The head looks amazing! I am tempted to remix the watch face with a layer change for the numbers. It was so fiddly.

Thank you!

Yeah, there are a lot of options for layer change or not splitting some pieces and simply using supports, but I try to make the model I post as generic as I can for any makers level of experience. If you would like me to make some changes to help, just send me a PM to see what I can do. User remixes have been excellent so far on my models and I look forward to seeing them.

He's standing on my desk at the moment waiting for the umbrella and watch to finish printing. Will put up pics soon.

Did you glue the clock and the umbrella to the hands?

Glue all the way, no reason not to, even if it just fits. Just watch your positioning before setting the glue.

Steve

hi,
print with anet a8....+ acrylic paint with pencils
thank you and happy new year !

Great work! Just got here by a photo of the model found on reddit and I loved your work! Just to make sure, if I print the model at 100% the result is 250mm tall?

Thank you for the kind words.

Correct, the assembled model is 250mm tall, including the height of the watch. I always list the total height of my models to help people that have shelves so they know if it will fit. Be sure to always read my notes for handy suggestions.

If you do make any of my models, I'd very much appreciate if you post your make and suggest to anyone else to post theirs as well. Seeing makes gives me the incentive to make more models. I'm working on Alice right now.

Steve

Another great model Steve. I seem to falling behind with these, and this one definitely deserves to be supersized to 250% to go with my Mad Hatter print.

Good to hear from you again and thank your for your support.

FYI-I'm almost finished with the Blue Caterpillar.

Teamwork,
Steve

Having so much fun putting your designs together and wowing my co-workers! Brilliant work mate!

I appreciate the words of support and the picture.

Thank you for uploading your make as well. Seeing makes posted gives me more incentive to keep modeling.

Steve

Hey Steve!

If that's the case, I'll post all the rest of my pictures I've taken as makes as well! :) If taking suggestions, may I throw The Simpsons into the hat? Thanks again for the stunning design!

Grateful,
Nate

I really appreciate you loading your other makes and pictures. It means quite a lot to me. All my work is free and will always be free. I do this as a hobby and feedback is needed to help me learn what works and what need improvement.

I do keep a detailed list of maker suggestions. The Simpsons are on the list, but one of my criteria for deciding on models is to find subjects that have not already been done.

Thanks again.

Steve

Great idea! The road less traveled..... In that case, Bravestarr, Talespin, Darkwing Duck, Rescue Rangers???... I guess I'm a bit of a Disney fan. haha..

My pleasure to post and give credit so richly deserved.

Nate.

... added to the growing list.

Steve

As always, thank you for the design. My son and I agree that this design looks great. I appreciate the suggestions on filament - and took this opportunity to order some new colors for this print. Once everything arrives, we will work on making this. We appreciate your printing and purchasing inspiration.

Good to hear from you. I'm always inspired when I hear that you and your son work as a team.

Teamwork,
Steve

This is on my to do-list.
All your models are extraordinary.

I always enjoy seeing your prints. Printing/assembly and taking good pictures are just as important as the model itself.

Teamwork,
Steve

Another amazing model. Thank you sir!

Thank you!

If you do build any of my models, don't forget to post your makes.

Teamwork,
Steve

Very nice will be adding this to my collection

Thanks, I'm looking forward to seeing your make. Your builds are always so sharp looking.

Well you know what coming Steve!!! Hi to all

And you will be the first once again!

Teamwork,
Steve

theres a lot of pieces to this one.. may have to fire up 2 printers

Actually not that many pieces but lot's of colors. I have a habit of posting each piece separately, but for example all the blacks can be printed at the same time. I also post left and right pieces separately but normally they would be printed together.

Personally I think you simply want to try out your new printer!

Steve

95% done.. on new printer lol!!

What can I say ... Nice.

I always enjoy seeing your avatar pop up!

Steve
