A holster for the Veho MUVI VCC-003 micro digital video camera. The original holster broke on me and needed a quick and dirty replacement prior to leaving for travel.
I didn't spend too much time on this one, so it's considerably bulkier than I'd like and the original holder it replaces, but it'll do. Perhaps I'll return to it at a later time when both opportunity and time allows.
Note, 8/13/18 - I've since uploaded a new STL file with a more properly located clip. The original one had the clip too low for where the center of mass was located, allowing it to excessively lean forward.
Note, 8/17/18- It appears, based upon the STL file previews, that I may have uploaded the wrong STL file for the raised clip version, but am on travel and will not be able to address it until I return.
There is a slight fit problem, which can likely be seen in the photos. The short angled hood above the rear wall of the holster needs to be raised by a couple of mm, though unfortunately I seem to have run into a bug in Fusion360. The controlling dimension seems to no longer be editable nor selectable, and has somehow also lost its link to the parameter table. Thus it seems to be fixed to a hard number that I cannot seem to change. But there's enough room for the MUVI to still slide into the holster, albeit pushed a bit forward due to the slight interference with the geometry.
Printed in PETG with 3.5 shells.
Support only needed to print the very bottom of the clip - otherwise it's a pretty straightforward print.
