I designed this to hold the ImmersionRC 600mW transmitter to the side of the Phantom 2 so to maintain easy access to the battery compartment.

The transmitter case is removable for servicing (and is locked in with a screw) and additional cases could be made for other things.

The transmitter is held in place by slots in the case and is secured using the antenna connector (my antenna has an adapter)

Printed on a Makerbot Replicator using PLA

Printed the two leg adapters at 2 Shells, 25% Infill and at 0.10 mm layer height.
Printed the case standing up with the opening at the top and at 1 Shell, 100% Infill and at 0.10 mm layer height

You will need to remove the plastic wrapper from the transmitter for it to slide into the housing

Do you need longer screws with this for the legs? If so, were you able to find them easily?

You will need longer screws for the legs, the screws I used had 15-16mm of thread length and they were a perfect fit, they were some hex head screws I had already but the length should be fairly common

Gotcha...thanks for the help!

I've tried printing the box as it imports, and then tried rotating it 180 deg so that the longest portion is on the bottom. How did you print this?? To be upfront, this is my second day with my FlashForge Creator X. I've got it to print beautifully until either tries to print the base on top or the slots on top, then it fails. Could you help me out with this? Thank you! BTW, love this model. If you'd rather, email me at [email protected]

The box should be printed with the opening (where you slide the transmitter in) to be at the top of the print
