Honestly, I'd recommend just taking a file to the nut and narrowing it along one side - that's all you need to make it fit with no adapter or extruder relocation needed

I don't disagree, but I think holes would also need to be drilled out either in the nut or the mounting plate. I use a titan aero so the relocation was no problem, and before I installed that, I had extended the mount for the extruder stepper, which made it easier for me to thread the flament. This is only one way to do it though, and I am definitely not suggesting it is the best way for everyone, or even necessary for most printers. Posted it since other folks may want to use it in a similar way (though hopefully they will be able to mount it correctly :-)
