Hey, I've printed both base & moon & either I've done something wrong (I doubt it) or there is an issue with the hole sizing. The base has a 50mm diameter at the top, but the moon hole is only 37mm (or thereabouts). In other words, it doesn't fit!

I've double checked this in Slic3r & you can see the difference. Only way I can see this working is to scale the moon to 130% & print again.

My apologies. You might be right, since i design it in blender (where actually i cannot get it to the right size) i have import it to slic3r and i have scale it up.
I completely forgot about this step that i will add now in the description.

Thanks, glad I know now it wasn't me, lol.

I want to print this, but I'm not sure how you got this to print with the MK3. It is too high (nearly 22cm) & Slic3r won't allow me to export the G-code. Do I need to split it, scale it down slightly or do something else? Please help.

Well it only require rafts 3mm so the overall height is no more than 21cm. I have used an MK3 as well so its fine. Dont split it because it will be visible when you light it up from inside.
Please check also if tis placed to the bed and not in the air.

Apologies, I should have specified, it's the base piece that is too high. The moon itself isn't a problem.

Ah yes then. Well you can scale it down the z axis or split it. You can glue t after without any problem

No worries, thanks mate. ;-)
