The interpretations of the ToS changes seem slanted towards evil intent. I just don't see this. It is against their own commercial interest to ruin Thingiverse. They make their money via printers and supplies.

While they did get significant $$ from investors in the past year, I doubt those investors would be foolish enough to try to monetize this reservoir of user created content which is a major driver of sales beyond the early adopters of this technology.

I am not saying they would not like that to happen. (think iTunes)

...but it would be a big mistake.
