It's a good idea but I've noticed a few flaws with using them. They walk down the arms during use until they reach the bottom near the print head. The print head is designed to fit between the arms in certain positions at the edge of the build plate. But with these dampers piled up at the bottom, the print head meets resistance. This can cause the print to fail from misalignment, or the print head will push through and snap the dampers.

I'm still trying to find a way to keep these from walking down the arms during use. So far I haven't found a solution yet.

rubberband could also work if you tie it around the arm.

Use paper tape or scotch tape, etc

I think this damper is useless because it lacks hinges. Therefore, this damper moves down during operation and makes it difficult

After making 9 of these, and placing three of them evenly spaced on each arm, they don't like to stay put. They tend to walk up or down the arms and bunch together in one location on each arm. Any ideas for how to keep them evenly spaced?

Have you tried them? Do they work?

Hi, What material is it made of?
