Print Thing TagSummary
I made this for my laptop and someone on Reddit asked me to upload it so here it is.
It's intended to be simple and fit perfecty on my laptop. I added rubber feet with double sided tape, but it's not necessary, it just prevents the laptop from sliding if you're using it on a slippery surface.
The profile is tuned for my 15" 2015 Macbook Pro, so if you want it to fit on your laptop, you'll need some callipers and open the file with Fusion 360 and edit the first sketch to tune it. If you're tuning it to your laptop use the "Fitting Test" component to print just the fitting part of the stand so you don't waste time and filament printing the whole thing when testing.
If you find parameters that work for your laptop, you could post them here as a comment to help others out that might have the same laptop!
And no, with the current thickness, which is 4mm, you can't close the laptop lid with the feet on. Is not an issue for me though.
You can download the .f3d file from here or you can use this Fusion 360 public link https://a360.co/2O8fzni
