This thing was made with Tinkercad. Edit it online https://tinkercad.com/things/4ofIStkP7AL
I made this to show a friend what possibly could be done with tilt/shift lenses. He owned a nikon. I don't, so I was never able to finish this project to something very useful and safe to use.

Warning !!

The fittings are to loose, so keep hands on lens and body.

How I Designed This

I just took a caliper and measured the lens roughly. That is the main reason why this fits so bad. Also my first try of tinkercad

I had some fit issues too! The lens side was super loose, basically had to hold the lens on to keep from falling off. The camera body side seemed odd, no flat base to push up against, and the cutouts for the tabs seemed odd too. When I got it in, seemed to flop all over the place! Nice concept, but I think I'll need to make a few mods to get it to work for me!

I did this as a quick and dirty project to show the possibilities of a shift lens. And yes please hold the lens with your hands if you try this.
I don't own a nikon nor a nikon lens. If I have some spare time available and the blueprints of the fitting I could try to make a new version.

I printed this at 100% but it was a bit too small to fit my camera snugly

Hi polyglob, if you read my comment to chimera15 I already stated that it is not finished yet. I don't own a Nikon otherwise I could do an effort to make a new version.

Awesome! knew there'd be something here...so how does it work?  It's fixed...do you know anyone with designs for variable?  I guess it has at least part of the design which is the nikon mount..  Thanks!

This one is not working at the moment because the mounts are not that well designed. I took the mounts from a lens cap and a lens mount cap and combined them. I made this for a friend of mine who owns a nikon camera. I would like to experiment more with this and make a variable one. Have to make the mounts myself.
