Hay could we get another option of having all the pieces split individually. I have a cr10 which I think can fit each piece at size, but is a pain to keep having to split then in another software. love the file and I do intend to print it!

Here are some programs that will help

I use Windows 10 free 3DBuilder to split up all my models not only ready for printing,
but to actually seperate the files. Very simple the you tube video above will help explain. Cheers Jace

Your right it is the most annoying time consuming part of 3d printing, but it should be the most fundamental part of anyone's ability to 3D print. I have 2000 + models still to post ; ) I think my time spent would be continuing to post those for free. Perhaps you could utilise some time to separate the model for all to enjoy ; ) Cheers Jace

hay thanks for the response, I ended up splitting it in idea maker and importing it back into cura, printing the lower half right now 2day print lol thanks for posting and responding. and sine you seem to have a ton of SW models you wouldn't happen to have a Rebel Fleet trooper helmet would you? its almost the exact same helmet as the gunners just a bit more in the control box and the second visor.

lol well I kept looking at your stuff and found the rft helmet so I might print that soon as well! good work man !

Cool, look forward to some pics and or posts of your models, Cheers Jace ; )

Hay on track for printing, got the lower jaw part done. but I was noticing that the tail end of the helmet is enclosed in all versions. but if you look at the pictures posted on your rebel helmet by another user, the tail is open. im going to see how it turns out and maybe cut it out if I don't like it or maybe print the tail from the rebel helmet , but though I would bring it up

Yes I did notice that, but it was difficult to tell in the pictures as those that had made there own versions did not necessarily have the back underneath, But I read some where tha tthe original was filled supposed to be filled in. Still I cant 100% sure on of that as was just hear say in a forum : ) Cheers Jace

Excellent! You are the master!

Cool glad you like it ; )
