I love the idea, but my prints from Shapeways have a lot of problems. The gears and teeth are so small that they don't mesh very well. No amount of lubrication allows the rails to slide easily the servo horn. Would you be willing to sell me some working versions of this item since I don't have a printer and the online services seem a bit unreliable?

Sure I would be glad to I have a 3D hubs site for orders. I can make sure they are all working smoothly for you.

What is the scale of the model --- mm, cm, inches?

mm, always mm.

do you have a specific part number for the servo you used? i am using hi-tec HS-225BB and it's a bit small... trying to scale to fit but a pain... thanks for any help... strong work!

Thank you, yes I designed this around a standard size servo like the HS-311

Hope this helps

Can you please share your print settings and the orientation you used? I am having trouble getting a successful print.
Thanks!

Can you post real photo, not just digital renderings? The gears and tooths look really small, i doubt in good quality of print on those.
What size of servo is this designed for? Micro, standard, large?

Here are some pics for you. It prints well but I would advise running it at high quality and you will need to use a file and sand paper to smooth the inner rails for the racks. Pretty much sand any rubbing parts, also If you have a dry lubricant spray it could help.

Also standard servo size, It works well with a futaba brand servo.

looks cool! thanks!
