Love the Idea, great looking design.. I would strongly suggests against making this and using it!! Even if you make it with food safe materials, FDM printing does NOT give clean enough prints to allow for safe use with food, ESPECIALLY eggs!!!!! I would disclaimer the daylights out of this as it "could" cause serious illness if not properly used / cleaned... For something like dry ingredients sure use fdm tools,go for it. But eggs? MOST DEFINITELY NOT!!!

FDM 3d printing can't produce food safe items even if you are using a food safe filament (like PETG). Too many gaps and pores.

MrMuzz you are very good at these designs, i was wondering do you happen to know which type of plastic to use because i think PLA is not food safe

If it is natural (no added dye), it usually is, PET is a great option since disposable water bottles are made from it, simply buy the hobbyist version PETG and have fun!

Your the only person I'm following. You also might be one of my favorite designers. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for your message and supporting my efforts here. Pleased you like my designs

so far so good, but when you tilt it to remove the yellow you are going to get some white too because of that bottom lip. OK it looks like an egg, --oops, i didnt see that there was a middle removable part.

A small amount of white will always stay attached to the yolk but not a lot... it does the intended job of separating the white and yolk but the added benefit is that they end up in two separate containers afterwards. This can make life easier in some cases...
