The ones I have are about 300x400, would you be interested in adding a new version?
I can add exact dimensions/pictures, help test it and add a make. Thanks!

Great design. The only problem is that I found it too late. So I used another way, I put it outside.
Forgive me if my English is wrong, it is not my native language. The above content is translated by Google

That really is the main issue with the Ender 3 for upgrading - at a certain point you start to run out of space :p I'm halfway playing around with the thought of extending the control box with prints and this is a great source of inspiration for that :D

I made this but forgot to take pictures. It worked pretty much perfectly though. Thanks for sharing

TL-Smoother holder for Ender-3

I have the smoothers that have a 90 degree connector, could this possibly work? I like this design over others

Unfortunately it does not fit.
Those designed by others will likely fit.

TL-Smoother holder ENDER 3 ,ENDER3 CREALITY

Hey JoVanBever,
had the same Problem as you... hope it helps ;)

I will give it a try thank you.
How did you install it?

I just stuck it. ;) The fan fits well in between. But the cables are very tight.

Thank you, I will give it a go

I believe the fan on the ender 3 pro is on a different location, so sadly enough I cannot use this design. How can I help to redesign it so that it is useable for an Ender-3? Otherwise a very nice design

I do not have ender - 3 pro so I do not know the detailed dimensions. I am sorry that I can not help you.

Let me know if you ever need the dimensions

Same here (40x30mm), would appreciate to see a mod for them :)!

If the width was 30 mm, it interfered with the cooling fan and could not fit inside the case.

Mine is 40x30mm, like many others who reported a different size.

question: the tl smoothers gets hot how this is hold?

My smoothers look the same as yours but after printing this they aren't even close to fitting. My printer is calibrated pretty well, so I don't think that's the issue. I guess there are multiple knock-off of these smoothers with varying degrees of similarity. For interest what size are your smoother boards? Either way I guess I'll design my own version that fits my boards. Thanks for the effort however.

The size of my TL - Smoother board is 48.15 mm in length × 25.15 mm in width × 1.65 mm in thickness.
The design value of the holder is 48.35 mm in length × 25.35 mm in width.
The actual measurement value of my printed holder was 48.30 mm to 48.35 mm in length and 25.30 mm to 25.35 mm in width.
Since the height direction can not be measured directly, it was measured at the position of the photograph.
The actual measurement was from 4.00 mm to 4.05 mm.
I designed the gap small so that the board can be securely fixed.
If you tell me the size of your TL - Smoother I will design a slightly larger type of holder.

Dimensions: 28,5 mm x 49 mm
Can you make it :)?

I have created a test model for 28.5 mm x 49 mm.
Please check whether your board can be attached to this.

Fits fantastic. Add a small space please --> 28.6 mm x 49.2 mm
Thanks!

I changed the size and designed Type B.
However, it may interfere with the case fan because the board is large. The gap with the case fan is 0.6 mm.

The fan is ok. The problem is the supports :(
Can you move back?

I noticed that in this design it interferes with the case lid attachment part.
So I changed the design to put the holder under the part. The length of support is 1.5 mm shorter.

Thanks!!! Works fantastic :)

Same here. My smoother boards are much bigger

I just took some sandpaper and sanded the sides to narrow them to fit. Then they slid right in.

Looks cool thanks for posting this, these were on my list of things to add once I get mine working. Was there a noticeable improvement with the TL-smoothers on the Ender 3?

I really didn't notice any difference on mine. Purchased in July. I'm printing this thing anyway.

The salmon skin pattern has been improved although it has not completely disappeared.

You can see that the diagonal lines on the left side of the photo disappear.
