By looking at the film footage, I tried creating a basic model of cables time travel watch from the movie "Deadpool 2".
Post Processing and Painting
I've filed down some of the gears (in between the teeth especially) with tiny files to get rid of excess filament and make them a bit smoother (most parts are too tiny to sand down with sandpaper).
I then spraypainted everything with my airbrush in silver, steel, gold and copper. Colors are up to the maker. Personally, I would chose more gold over copper if I had to do it again.
Basically, the bottom_piece_with_strapholders holds all the other parts, they're stack inside if it on multiple layers. In it, there is the "inner perimeter" part that creates like a 2nd "edge". it's possible to print those two parts as 1 part (just merge them in any editor), but I wanted to spray paint them in different colors, that's why I made it into two parts.
Bottom layer inside of is all the bottom layer cogwheels (you can arrange them as you like).
On top goes the middle layer cover, with the middle layer cog on top.
Last but not least, on top goes the top_layer_cover which has the top_layer_small_cog on top of it.
I've added 1 RGB LED from adafruit.com in the hole underneath (I cut the plastic top of the LED off so it would fit underneath).
I cut the blue wire of the LED off (since I don't need it for a yellow color) and then connected the Red / Green wire with different resistors inbetween (can't remember the exact ohms, they were both between 50 and 200 ohms) and connected it all to a battery pack with 3 AAA batteries (4.5V output approx.).
