I've tried a few mounts for the RRD GLCD and have found them to be just short of perfect. The "Improved Full Graphic LCD Case and Dock - RepRap Discount Cradle Mount" by jimustanguitar however looks like it checks most if not all the boxes I can think of. The only thing I wanted however was to be able to mount it at an angle on my Delta printer's 2020 extrusion. This adapter is designed to allow that, and uses a couple M3 screws and some M3 nuts. The length of the screws is not really critical, as long as they are at least 10mm they should work.
To mount it to the 2020 extrusion, M4 screws and T-nuts will be needed, though M3 should also work if some washers are added.
The display is tilted at 50° from horizontal which was a compromise to allow it to be removed and inserted in the holder, while not sticking out too far.
After blowing my LCD with a static zap on the metal bezel around the screeen, I made the following remix of the original case which adds a protective snap in bezel. However it also utilizes M3 brass inserts so it may be a more difficult build.
I also made a case that holds a PWM fan controller, a switch and a LCD volt meter which has a complimentary design to this model. You can find that here:
Supports will be needed (touching the build plate).
To help with remixing, the STEP file is included for the mount.
