Really like the design. Could you share the Fusion360 file? That would be awesome.

Thank you for your comment. I uploaded the file. Please enjoy it!

Several versions included. What are the differences?

HoneyCombLampShade31.stl: with inside thin wall & without bottom support for lamp holder
HoneyCombLampShade32.stl: without inside thin wall & without bottom support
HoneyCombLampShade33.stl: with inside thin wall & with bottom support
If you use Thingsview, it is easy to understand the differences.

You might think about one of two things to give the top of the lamp a finished look.

  1. Add a flat surface similar to the bottom to give the top a clean cut smooth surface.

  2. Create a domed honeycomb pattern piece that can be placed on top of the cylinder. This could either have the inside thin wall/diffuser or be left without this wall to create interesting shadows on the ceiling.

I really like your design.
I'm trying to replicate it with Fusion 360, but without success yet.
Can you give me a few hints on how you generated the honeycomb pattern?
Best regards,

Thank you for your comments!
It was not so smart way.
After making single deformed honeycomb from the center of cylinder towards the outside, I used "Pattern", copy and paste.
Please think about. If you want to know more, please ask.

Thank you for your response!

What might be interesting for this, in the same vein as the Halloween option, is to add little honeybee plugs that insert like the bats you made. And some just blank plugs that make the cells look as if they're full of honey.

I made the honeybee plug as you suggested. Please take a look.

Thank you for your comments! Actually, my wife asked me the same. So, I will make it when I have time.

That looks amazing, certainly better than I could have done myself.
