Hi. Great design.

I printed all in 2 colors (silver and white) and finishing the lamp shade now.

Now I came to the final topic - LED mounting. Which LED did you use ? I find 3 mounting elements to print (file led_holder_plate.stl) but do not get which LED to use. Seams you used some square LED panel. Which one ? any tip ?

I also redesigned the legs to some more solid design. have a look if you like it.

It never occurred to me me to use the strips I can't wait to see how yours turns out. And thank you for the kind words

Really nice design, have you considered using an EL (Electroluminescent Panel) for the light source, the tabs you added are perfect for that. I also feel when printed in black the is lamp has almost a cyberpunk vibe to it, and I'm printing it out as i type this :). I'm gonna try to get some EL panels and make a really cool piece!
Keep up the good work!

hi there I printed everything using makerware's standard or high settings the infill is only 10% for the standard and 15% for the high setting. were u printing ABS or PLA?

Do you have any hints for printing? what infill did you use? Support? that kind of thing. I'm just starting the body for the 4th time...I got to 5:40 hours of a 7:05 hour print yesterday when one end came up...heartbreaking. I was using a heated bed and a raft, but I suspect the 50% infill was to much mass as it cooled and it warped. I'm going to turn the infill way down and see if I'm right...
