Simple rim for soda can planter or soda can flower pot.
If you want to get Fancy:
Use Tesselmaniac to design a tesselation pattern: www.tesselmaniac.com from Sand Piper studio, 30$ US on Amazon. Older interface, buggy but does what it says it does for a reasonable price.
Then use Phototomesh to map it onto a cylinder, www.ransen.com at 50$, its a little high priced, but for wrapping images around custom objects like sword handles, bowls or a vase, I don't know of anything affordably better.
Finally go into a CAD program and subtract a Rod from your cylinder to create and inner rim to sit on the soda can. Subtract a cylinder from the top so that the top of a cut off can will fit in the inner ring of the rim.
Spray paint the can with Rustoleum and pop on the rim. Your good to go. Try cutting the can off at different heights for a set.
By the way, if you don't know how to cut the top off of a soda can safely, don't do it or at least wear gloves and goggles.
Inner rim that sits on can is 67mm
Outer rim is 75mm
Inner opening is 60mm
