Summary

Replacement Filament post for the UP! or Afinia 3D Printers. Designed to handle 700g filament spools from pp3dp and 1kg spools from Afinia, Octave and 3DD.

This design requires 12 - 5/16" ball bearings placed into the spool holder for it to work. (I used 5/16" slingshot ammo since it was cheaper and available in local sporting goods stores)

This design printed up very nicely. What size ball bearings did you spec for the design?

It uses 12 - 5/16" ball bearings.

SWEET. Did you print 100% infill, or semisolid?

I don't recall what settings I used, but I don't think it needs dense infill. It will add some additional internal support ribs where it's needed, at least when printed on an Up.

I'm still looking for balls for the bearings, but other than that, I'm loving this holder.
