What type or thickness material are you using this with? It looks really useful. Thanks.

These sheets are engraving foil that can be bought at arts and crafts supply stores. The come in silver, copper and brass and they are about as thick as 250g/m² paper. Easy to cut with scissors or knifes and pretty stable once corrugated.

love it!
how much does the finished project weigh?
thanks for the good design!

The kitchen scale said that mine weighs about 30g, printed with PLA in original size.

So I just made this and on the barrel one side the peg does snap in but on the other side the hole is too big for the peg. Could this be corrected please? Basically the holes are not the same lol

That is probably because your nozzle is too close to the printing bed when it prints the first layers which causes them to squeeze out sideways and thus making the peg-hole on the bottom side too tight. (Ok, that sounds so wrong... ^^)
The file is perfectly symmetrical. Look for troubleshooting when over-extrusion happens. It should be a question of re-leveling the plate. :-)

No No the problem isn't too tight it too loose. If you think re leveling shouldn't one set bet too tight for the pegs to even fit in? To re visit one set of holes is perfect, the other set is too big so when I place in a peg it falls out. I will reprint and pay more attention to which holes are on the bottom.

Well, the file is still Allright. The reason why the pegs fit tightly in only one of the sides is as I described above. When I designed the hole for the pegs I kept in mind that most printers such as mine have an x/y-inaccuracy of about.0.2 mm. I guess your printer is just a bit too precise at printing so there is a microscopical gap between barrels and pegs when everything is printed perfectly fine on the top side of the barrels. I recommend to simply put in some glue into that hole.

Nice advertisement, really sells it 10/10 would make

I'm printing this right now!
