This project uses the original model Saturn V (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1734411) by Romax. Please show some love by liking the original design. Thank you Romax.
Very nice original model for this project. Fun making it with a little different application of the quick fit plug. The bank splits in the mid range, which allows it to be made a little larger and with fewer parts than the usual banks in my listing.
At this file size it had to be printed on the CR-10. It holds all coins and $90 in quarters.
Think if printed at x075 file size it will still hold all coin sizes. If printed at x0.66 file size it will fit on an Ender 2 and hold quarters.
If you have any questions or suggestions, please let me know. Thank you for looking. Enjoy.
Filament Outlet PLA
Printed at 210C/50C, 3 wall layers, 20 line skirt.
Well, I had the filament break at the top portion and had to print a fix and glue the top tip on (used contact cement) ...otherwise the print went well.
Had to file to clean up the holes and plastic from the skirt. I ran the quick fit prongs against a sheet of 100 grit sand paper until they fit and locked into the hole.
There is a small gap at the join line...looks like a separation point of a lower stage rocket.
Used Tinkercad and Cura...in Tinkercad, find Dadmezz, copy objects, select ungroup to see the construction steps.
