I love the simplicity of your design. Except I already had a bunch of LED lights (from China with remote controls, USB, kits and all. So I wanted to use some of that. And my strips where a little wider than your strip design. Your bar is designed for a 8 mm Led strip. I happened to have a bunch of 10 mm LED strips. So in case some one is interested or have 10 MM LED strips, I went on Fusion 360 and wiped up a new light bar for the brackets that will fit in the same brackets, but that will hold a 10mm LED strip. I also made it a little deeper since the 10 mm strips are also a little thicker. so that you are no blinded by side lighting. Any ways Thought I would help. Great design. Didn't want to reinvent the wheel. But I did want my strips to work with your great design. Thanks man.

Specs on the bar is actually 10.2 mm inside bottom but tapered narrow at the top on purpose. (to bottle neck the light).

Super nice design. Is this just a strip of WS2812B LED's? How did you power them?

Thanks! I used single color strip lights, 2835 LED's I think. Powered from an extra screw terminal in the printer power supply so it switches with the printer power.
