Loving the case! I was looking for something 'more stylish' for a while

I'm a big fan of Home Assistant, planning to use a MQTT setup, what electronics you got running? I can see a nRF24L01 (I think!)

I'm happy that you like it.

Inside the box there is indeed nRF24L01. I use MySensors (mysensors.org) for comminication. All data are pushed to MQTT and finally read by Home Assistant.

Niiiice. Currently using Sonoff RF Bridge and a load of 433Mhz sensors. What is the battery life like on these sensors? Main reason I went with 433Mhz

My sensors based on nRF24L01 run on two AA batteries. My first sensor I made few monts ago still works without replacing betteries. This is because most of the time these sensors are in deep sleep (15min), wake up (for few seconds) to capture temperature/humidity/baro and sent it to gateway.

I also bought 433Mhz module but haven't used it yet. I wanted to test range of this 433Mhz module because sometimes I have range problem with nRF24L01
