Hallo Dgeer,

Hello Dgeer,
you can adjust the length to your needs with the attached OpenSCAD file.
In the OpenSCAD file, adjust the values for lGewindeAchse (lThreadAxis) and (lThicknessWave) accordingly. At the end of the OpenSCAD file, comment out everything except: Achse(MitGewinde=true); (Axis(Withthread=true);) . Render again, export STL file, then print as usual.

Love it, works great. Yes it looks a bit long for the stand I'm using, but it works for me. Will be printing longer braces or the actual post that goes with it. I've been printing for 7 months, using a Davinci XYZPrinting Jr.1W. I printed with some very cheap filament, like $12.99 at 300m not the $40.00+ a roll from XYZP. Thanks for the share.

I made this on my Anycubic I3 Mega, very happy with the result, I've tried other spool holders that fall out - this works very well.

No my development is not a remake, please take a closer look!
The axle shown by you is a thru axle, with me the axle is continuous.
Furthermore the thread is a completely different one, like the whole construction.
The axle shown by me is a development in OpenSCAD by me, the OpenSCAD files are on my computer.
Please take a closer look before you make such accusations.

I just stated that it looked a lot like that one and the way you are getting so offended makes it look like your idea came from there. Also if you read my comment I did say "IF" it was a remix credit should be given to the original designer. So cool your jets

This looks like a remix of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2228643 if it is, credit should be given to the original designer
