"From high atop the dark summit of Mount Dire, the sinister castle of the tyrant-wizard, Rexor, casts a dread shadow over the world of Primordia."

I felt this needed to exist. Print! Enjoy!

Jul 26, 2017 - Modified Jul 26, 2017

awesome such a cool model! So detailed!

Man i printed this and its a peice of art!! its fantastic and so cool!! mate keep it up and would love to see mor things like this!!

I noticed that the sheer vertical faces of the base don't appear to be perfcetly round by design. What was the motivation for this?

Oh, you mean the facets? I think the shape I used to cut it was pretty low-poly.

Just printed and it turned out beautifully, hopefully I don't butcher it with painting.

Either way, post some pics!

is there a way to edit this in solidworks ? i get an error "This STL model has too many surfaces" when trying to open as an solid body.

Requesting permission to make the game "Legends of Primordia: Wrath of the Tyrant King"

Haha, well, we're already technically doing that over here at IGG, but email us, and if you've got an amazing idea, maybe we can work together: [email protected]

Ah... but what about a video game? :-p

Now we're talking... yeah, shoot me an email. We have a whole treatment for the characters/world and a concept artist working with us on that.

Well done, Hamster!

Thank you...uh... term for person from Seattle! (Sea-towner?)

Congrats on the feature / challenge win!

Thanks, Jason!

congrats for the feature. This thing for sure is beautiful and nightmare fuel.

Haha, I'm just happy to be fueling something. Much appreciated!

Soon to be leaving thingiverse because of Makerbot's behavior towards open source.

This is the best thing to happen to 3D printing since 3d printing.

Yeah. I mean making fingers for kids without them is okay but this is what 3D printing is about.

The closer I look at this thing the more I love it. The little balcony at the back of the teeth. The stairs to the two towers.
I want to live here. This is one well built castle.

Thanks, man! Yeah, I reeeeally want to have a much larger version of this. Life-sized would be ideal. I do have something in the works though....

You forgot the hash-tag, or have you been banned from competitions?

No, its in there, under the tags. The # doesn't display in those things.

your the best thing to happen to thingiverse ever :)

You, sir, are far too kind. But I'll take it!

Just waiting for a new design to be posted... "Best thing to happen to Thingiverse ever" title to sit on your desk.

Should have been named Castle Rexskull?

By the power of Rexskull.... I... Am... He-Rex!

Haha, man, I thought about it, but then I thought it might be a little too close... but in retrospect, I think you might be right.

Thanks, Jason!

It's only just now that I realize that large-scale architectural prints come with support structures (eg. columns) built right in. :P
Fantastic design!

Hey, thanks, Austin! Yeah, It was a bit of a struggle to incorporate the architecture and retain the detail of the skull, but I'm pretty happy with how it came out. I can't tell you how badly I want an action figure-scaled version of this.

I agree that it needed to exist. Great model - what's the story though?

Thanks, Louise! You know, I was working out a little story blurb (something about the world of "Primordia" and a tyrannical anthropomorphic dinosaur wizard, but I was just so tired that I ditched it. I'll go back and add it now... it just doesn't feel right to leave it like this ;-)

The neighboring kingdom wanted a cooler castle than Castle Grayskull? :-)

I'd like to think Rexor is the Skeletor rival that just never got his chance.
