This is an unbalanced wheel based of "Davincis Perpetual Motion Machine".
of course its not true perpetual motion as such a thing is impossible in practice.
features a spring loaded "kicker" at the top designed to provide enough energy to rotate the wheel (in theory).
in practice this project is not functional and if anything provides an example as to why perpetual motion is not entirely possible.
feel free to print it out and do with it as you wish.
1) 10mm steel or lead ball's to be used as counter weights
2) 22mm skateboard ball bearing
custom tolerances have been made for the use of a Makerbot Replicator2 Gen1, and may not accurately reflect the same result with your printer.
let me know what you think.
