I wanted a place to keep my Reaper MSP Paint skin tone triads organized and handy.
These holders will hold three Reaper or Vallejo sized dropper bottles.
EDIT: Whoops - I uploaded the wrong STL (one of my prototype versions) when I first uploaded this. If you're one of the few who already downloaded it, I'm sorry!
These are designed to interlock and be mounted on a backing board that is then hung on a wall, or set on your painting table. I mounted mine to a piece of 1"x4" scrap wood I had that was just big enough for 8 of them to interlock. They're just a tad wider than the 3.5" dimension of the 1x4 width.
To mount them i started by using a couple of #4x 1/2" screws at the bottom to line up with the interlock notches of my bottom holder. These were mostly to help me hold the first piece in place while I drilled angled pilot holes for the mounting screws.
The bottom piece was then mounted with two #8 x 1 1/4" wood screws. The next six pieces were slid into place and held with a single screw, alternating which side until I reached the top piece, which I also used two screws on. This was probably overkill, but I didn't want one of the pieces popping off on me.
After mounting all the pieces, I used a brother 12mm label maker to create a label for each of the skin triad names and placed it in the shallow depression I specifically made for them.
After that, I mounted it to my wall behind my paint station, and loaded my paints.
I included a couple of references photos to help explain assembly.
