Seems like a lot of stress on a small connector.  Let us know how it works out over time.

Cable will get some stress, because dock holds lightning cable tightly. When iPhone docks, very hard damage over the iphone will bloke the connector unfortunately. But this case seems rare. Daily use of this dock will not harm connector, I think. Thank you.
