Anyone tried this on the A10? Looks like the same rail

How did you get M3 screws through the raspberry pi? I'm sure i could force it but I'm scared to break the Pi, did you use a tap?. Also in case anyone was wondering I was able to print this without supports by flipping the fan side on its back and enabling the bridge settings in Cura. Fits the Pi 3 B+ perfectly.

Yes I did use a M3 tap, work like a charm

There's a ridge on the bottom cover that prevents the two pieces from closing together nicely and the extra height makes it very difficult to fit onto the extrusion. Was this intentional?

I reprinted it without the ridge and now it fits perfectly.

I actually came to report this same issue. It's a leftover part of the 2020 extrusion slot thing.

Here's a quick fixed version:

I found your fix after I printed this and discovered it didn't fit. But I just took a knife and shaved off the section. Since it's all screwed together it works well enough.

Love the design and did not require much cleanup. Did have the two of the screw holes break but used super glue to fix. I might have needed to change something in the slicer.

Should the top half be printed with the flat surface on the bed? As it is in the STL file, I see it being printed with lots of support, but wasn't sure if there was a reason to have it printed that way. Thanks, like the design.

Will I be able to fit a buck convertor in the case with the Pi?

There is some head room on top of the Pi but it was not originally designed with a buck convertor in the stack. If you have a PI3, try feed it via POE on the ethernet port, POE injector are cheap on Amazon

Are you sure this works with the B+?

Yes it fit like a glove, I have one running on my machine with all the inner heatsink and 30x10mm fan, The model I had used for the design in solidworks was very accuration and dimension right on. should you require the solidworks 3d model of both the casing and Rpi just ask. Cheers!

Would it be possible to get the Solidworks models? I'd like to decrease the hole size so I can use 2.5M screws and I've come to realize it's much more difficult to edit an .stl vs a part file.
