This is the last of the three boats I have designed. I took me a while to get this posted as my printer stopped working. So there many issues on my prints which are due to my printer, so please view that with some kindness. As always, a tip would be great I've put a lot of effort into these 3 boats, I hope you enjoy.
Please read the below information as it will explain why there are so many files and further information. This boat most bottom level is also compatible my Small ship (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3167262) you just need to print 1 more part. Please see the Conversion Section.
Tl;dr: There are 2 different styles and you can reuse the second boat I printed.
AOB: I am also working on a airship, but this time I didn't want to rely on wood-fill being a easy excuses to not have detail for modelers to paint. This has been going really well, I hope to share that within 1-2 weeks.
Magnet Style: On the corners there are slots to use 8x3x3mm magnets. This magnets were used due to their strength.
Flat Style: This file type does not offer any protection against Z and X shake. People pushing it. Though, you can print "ZBlockAll3mm" and glue them where you want to them to provide protect. Please see the below section.
ZBlockAll3mm: You can mark up and use these to offer protection to make the model sit more securely.
Small Boat Sliding Conversion: If you printed the sliding version of the small boat. Use the file "Sliding_Bottom_2_ForConversion" to reuse that bottom layer. If you printed the Flat style, then you just need to print the bottom3 like normal which is apart of this project.
Files Magnet_2_Middle_3_Alt & Flat_2_Middle_3_Alt do not have a access point to the most bottom hull layer. You can use these alternative files if you wish for your boat to be only 2 levels high and not three.
On the right, you can see my Sliding style small ship, which will be reused for the bottom level of the warship. I just needed to print 1 extra part to turn it into a 4 long bottom instead of a 3 long bottom.
I have not included the cannon STL/OBJ because the object was created by a friend of mine. If people wish to have them, I will ask him if he wants to share the design. If so, I will put a link directing you to his file.
I based this off DMG Page 119. I will use wind direction and speed as well. If the ship is behind the wind this may add 10/30 to the ships speed. Seaworthiness is just a way to say "A good ship, should handle better".
