I made this case for my external hard drive. I made the top see-through with some plexiglass, which I suggest cause it looks awesome. I also left a hole for connecting your SATA-to-USB3.0 cable to the external hard drive.
I suggest using the 3fm-files instead of the stl-files for better quality. I had some trouble with my first layer because my bed isn't flat, that's why the surface isn't that good looking.
The heat that comes from the hard drive isn't a problem for the PLA, if you want you can edit the files to make some air holes.
You will need 4 small M3 screws to assemble everything together.
Real filament PLA
Initial layer 0.3mm
initial width 105%
initial printing temperature 200°C
printing temperatur 195°C
initial bed temperature 65°C
bed temperature 60°C
You need to use 4 small screws. I used M3 screws, just make sure the screws don't come out on the other side.
I glued some plexiglass on the top side so you can see your hard drive.
You can edit the files and make holes on the bottom side so the heat can flow away through these holes.
