GOT IT! Perfect. (still making small updates but it works perfect in its current form!
Print the two parts no support 2x M4 20mm bolts to assembly and snap it together. use a deburing took to clean up the interface where the Socket adaptor slides in (next revision this will be better). "snip" the portion of the model where you see I cut it off in my picture. you can try leaving it in place if you wish but its hard to get the adapter in with that wall intact. I left it intact for the print to retain the no support printing so think of it as built in support. it works VERY well.
as long as you keep your finger BELOW the 45 bevel on the hand grip you can back tilt the osmo 45' and your finger/grip won't come into the camera view.
I love it. its SO easy to hold and use now that I am also releasing a grip for the Moto Z2 "alone" to make it into a stand alone camera (since its camera's are pretty darned good as well) stay tuned for that.
I will keep fine tuning this model. I still have to add my tripon slave socket into the bottom (that extra hole was it but I goofed the dimensions! next revision will have it.
Why the Moto Z2 Force? the Osmo would not work with LG's and I have an LG V20 (4 of them same issue all for connection bad) SO I tried my brothers phone and it worked.
The Z2 force is pretty darned nice. slim. powerful nice screen USB C and most important? CHEAP under or around $100 on ebay. lots of ram and storage and you can add an SD card. non replaceable battery though which sucks.
ALSO at least until the osmo is full charged if you plug in the osmo IT ALSO charges the phone!! This is nice!
DRAT so close sooooo close. Cam interface off by 1.5mm File corrected will have Test 3 Printed in 9 hours.
also adjusted the charging port opening to permit more cables to fit (only about half mine fit)
added 11mm hole on bottom to allow insertion of a 2 way tripod adaptor (1/4x3/8 plug) for tripod mouinting. also cut 45 into the hand grip. if you have to tilt unit above your head the gimbal very rapidly brings your top finger and top of frame into view. this cut will encourage you to move your finger grip down and keep your hand and grip out of frame for a larger degree of movement.
2 x M4 20mm bolts to assemble the fit has JUST A bit of wiggle to allow for printer variations and to allow you to add "buffer" material to get the desired amount of friction fit you want.
I designed it to "capture" the ozmo which is why you have to insert it without the plug and then insert the plug (completing the capture) this way if you remove the phone the ozmo can't accidentally slide out on its own!! that would suck :-)
The CUT tools have also been updated.
THIS IS UNTESTED I am printing the hopefully final version now its 9 hours out.

This is for the Osmo Pocket and Motorola Z2 Force (cheapest decent usb C phone I could find on ebay about $100)

I HAVE NOT tested alignment of phone and dongle yet !!
I have also insluded a "cut tool" for the osmo so you can make your own holders and cases.
it goes to the "case line" just below the gimbal. the protrusions are for the USB ports.
Also included a cut tool for the Z2 Force (the little protrusion is for the power button) and the large rec protrusion is to cut out a hole to view the screen.
I will upload pics and final models later IF changes are needed. No supports needed print in 2 pieces M4's to put it together.
