It does one day need a winding ratchet..
However, the design itself is quite wonderful and my only real problem comes from the ring gear, which even printed solid in PLA flexes for me a little too much, making the thing stall out from time to time.
It's a shame, as I do think this is a wonderful looking clock!

Just posted a make

Erm... The spring is missing.

Yes, and most of the actual tourbillion parts are as well because I didn't modify those original parts. If you make that first then add my remix you'll have the whole clock. I just uploaded the parts I used from the original tourbillion for completeness for you. A26 offers various way to print the tourbillion, so you may still want to refer to his page for that.

Hello, very nice design and finally a wall clock which is clocked with a toubillon. I will definitely print and build it. But I have two questions .. I could not discover how the clock can be raised again. How did you think that? And is there a video showing the watch in action?

best regards and keep it up
Stefan from Germany

I just take my clock apart to rewind it right now. You can try wrapping a string one and a half times around the drum instead of tying it to the gear wheel, but with that much weight it might slip. I should try and design a ratchet mechanism like I did for my Bullzeye clock.

I don't have a video yet, but I would like to take videos of all my clocks running someday and post that.
