One of the tin men from the story "Andy Buckram's Tin Men" built as an action figure with interchangeable parts to one of my other designs. The figure is articulated and posable using Tinkercad's ball and socket joints and can be printed on smaller printing beds. I recommend scaling everything down to 75%
use support on everything but the head. use rafts on arms, body and legs.
Just plug everything into each other! Might be a bit stiff at first but will loosen up as you go along
Overview and Background
Andy Buckram's Tin Men is a story about how a boy builds his own robot from scratch and you can do the same printing multiple parts and piecing them all together to make one robot.
Lesson Plan and Activity
Learn how to print multiple parts that can work and fit together and make a functioning (fun) unit.
