I respect the fact that the designer wants to be paid for his work, but I resent the fact that I had to download the file, not find the scad, come back to this page and then view the comments to find this out.

it's not gear generator, it's just sample gears.

Hi olekdh!
Yes, it is a generator, just read until the end.
But there is a cost, US$1.29, my part is just $99 cents.
Sorry I am not a clock, for a program that take weeks do write and test,
and can make almost all kinds of gears(see the samples), it is banana.
;-) (brazilian expression for extreme low cost).

You can help me to do more things like this.

The OpenSCAD file is there, you can change all.

Kind regards Juan.

very nice! solved my problems.

Just made a few test prints, this generator is super! thanks for sharing.

Hi, excellent templates. However, I had an Issue matching your 15teeth groove (servo side) gear with the 55T (M8 bolt side). The gear height is not the same, the small gear(15T) is 12mm and the big gear is 10mm. When I printed them they do not match. Don't the heights have to be the same to work?

No. In the samples gears I made the small gear taller to avoid attrition. Please read the Instructions tab. But you can change all in the gears. In your case just change the size in the Openscad file and export it as STL file.

You were right. I re-printed the pieces and they came out great. Thank you!
