We put a shelf on the living room wall to display our books, but we needed a book stand to hold them tight in place.
I designed this little pyramid as ornament, so the stand wouldn't be boring.
I recommend better temperature control than mine at the tip, since it is way too smal it tends to melt (at least on ABS). Since I am still going to sand, prime and paint, I didn't care much about that issue.
The design is about 10cm tall, more than enough to support small books.
PS.: My cad software is rotating the design sideways for any mystical reason. I guess there's no need to say that it's better to print it stading.
3D Lab ABS
- ABS, Extruder @235°C, heat bed @85°C with enclosure;
- Printed standing;
- Sliced on Slic3r PE, but the model should work fine with any other;
- 0,4mm nozzle;
- 3 perimeters and 4 upper and lower walls;
- Low infill to spend less material.
