When we are celebrating Halloween, the people of Mexico celebrate "Dia de los Muertes", or Day of the Dead. Part of that is making skull shaped cookies and candies. These molds would go over quite well among Mexican citizens and immigrants on the 31st of October.

Hmmm... I like it but how do I reverse it so I can print in TPU and fill with mortar?

Great idea! I’m going to try making ice. I’m not sure how well the mold will flex/release when cold, but I have several molds, so I can sacrifice one if necessary. I’ll report back after I try it.

Just made this, what do i do now. Can u make a video?

I don’t do videos, but I’ve written a very detailed tutorial on how to make the molds and cast chocolates here: https://makezine.com/projects/3dp-chocolate-skull-mold/

Just made this it is my first print on the 3d printer come out good only done the skull though

I simply love this dang file! LOL I'm intending on making a "normal" set and If I can figure out, do a set with the craniums cut off and skulls hollowed out (which I can do easily molding, but o design in 3D is another question). I have things to learn pronto!

Thanks again for the great file!

Thanks! Glad you like it!

Try using Meshmixer (http://meshmixer.com/) to hollow out and slice off the top the skull STL that's imported into the OpenSCAD file. Then you can re-render the mold maker file and export from OpenSCAD. The Meshmixer forums will help you get started.

Bueno por "Dia de los Muertes" en Mexico. Treinte uno de Octubre.
