what would it take to redo the bottom piece to include space for the ups module ?

I just got a ODROID U3 with UPS (10 of them actually)... I will probably be remixing this case to work with it. Because of the way the spacers work, I will probably rework the entire case (using this for the base dimensions):

  • extend the height appropriately
  • replace the current mounting mechanism with a set of nubs that will insert into the spacers
  • put snaps on both sides so the lid can be put on straight down, rather than hooking on one side and snapping to the other (which might interfere with the nub mechanism

I do not have a 3D printer yet (will be getting one in about a month) so it may be a bit before I can test and publish the design.
