Nice to see that someone made a 3D print model of my concept. I highly appreciate it
Was lot of work to get there (this was the 9th attempt to redesigning the model)

One of the other concepts might result in a yasha - so if you are interested I might forward the SketchUp files, maybe you can improve it further

Hi i made an Account to both ask and let you know wed like to use this to make a Model for the HBS Battletech Game

(According to your license we just could if we keep the license and mention but you deserve a shoutout ;) )

Oh yeah, go right ahead! I look forward to shooting them down.

<3 :D we just gotta get some oddities with weapon bones figured out and then come the pesky flyers ;)

Could you provide a version of the complete model that is cut straight through along its length, so that it is possible to print the model by mirroring one side? This way, it should be possible to print it on an FDM printer just fine.

Sure thing. I know nothing of FDM printers so this is the best I can do. The files have been updated.

Best quality would be if you place it vertically and cut it directly at the propeller shaft. Then print both pieces vertically up.

Yeah, that's what I had in mind. It's also how I prefer to print my BattleTech minis.

I normally use Autodesk Netfabb to do just that. That being said, it should save many FDM-printing folks some time if the original creator offered a vertically cut version in the first place. There are quite a few printing novices out there (just as I was) who I guess wouldn't mind.
