I printed the dodge body. Went together well with a combo of epoxy and superglue and patience. I wish it was a tad larger in retrospect.
I have an idea to create mounts that would be similar to how an old bicycle gooseneck works. So they would tighten with a screw instead of coming up through the deck. Also was thinking about making a spare tire mount that would somehow integrate. Might draw some options up and give it a try. Next step is paint and rush for the cab.

just printed this bed, only change was made the diamond plate deck thicker and merged the two halves. once again awesome design work, this fits in with the rusty Maine crawlers I'm building perfectly.

Hi Daniel

Is there a way you can contribute your thicker single piece bed to this "thing"? Perhaps via Alex?
It would save some time for those that intend to make it, not having to combine them.

Alex, thanks for the initial design, it looks really awesome.

Ha. Your'e fast. I'm gonna keep the seams and play it up as two panels that are aging a bit differently. How are you planning to mount it?
I'm looking at the fit and i want it to lay right on top of the shock mounts so I'm still not sure how i'm gonna do that.

Not sure how it will mount yet, I have an scx10. 2 with cantilevered rear shocks so I could mount it lower to the frame but then the body lines are weird. I'm gonna print the 80's dodge cab and see how they all fit together before I decide

this is just amazing well done
