This thing is a 1.2-1.3GHz 6 element yagi antenna for FPV. It has been designed using VK5DJ's yagi calculator - http://www.vk5dj.com/yagi.html. This antenna is a longer higher gain version of my 4 element yagi antenna. The 6 element design is about the maximum length that will fit onto a standard size printer bed. This antenna has only had a little amount of testing. So far it has been taken out to 20km with good results, further testing will be done soon.
There are 6 of the common 1.2-1.3GHz channels to choose from:
Ch 7 - 1200 MHz
Ch 8 - 1240 MHz
Ch 9 - 1280 MHz
Ch H - 1320 MHz
Ch C - 1360 MHz
Ch d - 1258 MHz
The antennas are made up of a boom and a dipole support piece. The yagi has a reflector element, a dipole & 4 director elements. The antennas are designed for wire elements with a 1.6mm diameter. The dipole is built using RG316 coax. Each channel has its own length boom and a matching sizing block for cutting accurate length elements and easy construction of the dipole. Also included are 3 types of mounts.
