1 off arduino controller (I used an Arduino Uno)
1 off Stepper Motor (Micro Servo SG90)

Assembley should be self explanatory from the photographs. The spline on the servo is too fine to model or print. The servo comes with a set of arms with a splined hub. Chop the arms off and glue the splined hub into the centre of the gear. Before the gear wheel is attached, make sure that the pusher arm slides freely.
The red wire on the Servo is wired to the +5V Pin on the arduino.
The black wire on the Servo is wired to the GND Pin on the arduino.
The remaining wire on the Servo (I have 2 servos on one it is orange, the other it is white) is wired to pin 9 on the Arduino
The Resistor is soldered to the shorter Pin on the LED.
The other end of the resistor is wired to 2nd the GND pin on the Arduino
The Long pin on the LED is wired to Pin 2 on the Arduino
If you're not interested in programming Arduinos, the servo can also be made to 'sweep' using a 'BestDealUK Servo Tester CCPM Consistency Master Checker 3CH 4.8-6V' for arround 80pence (£0.80) with any 5V battery, or power supply.
