Inspirational! Very nice!

Hello Again. I'm moving along. Have the frame and almost all the gears printed! I believe Gear # 33, 78Tooth, is missing? It appears to be the same as gear 32. Its the cross hatch looking gear. Thanks.

oops, you are right!
Exported the wrong file from FreeCAD. I´ve uploaded the right file Gear33_B.stl.
Thanks for reviewing!

Thank You for the printing tips. The smaller nozzle seems to make a big difference. Another question for you. The X Y Gear Axis positions you have provided. Are they direct measurements from CAD file? I want to use them to drill the backer board with my CNC router. Thanks Again!

The GearAxisPositions-File represents the positions of the gears. They are taken from the CAD-File. With these positions I designed the joints. The gears are mounted in two levels on the joints not on the backplane. The positions of holes in the backplane you can take from the file DrawingBackplane_2.pdf. There are only a few holes which you can easily drill by hand tool.

Hello. I have just started on this make. I know it will take some time. I was just wondering if you could give me some tips on your printing profiles. I am having trouble getting some of the fine tooth gears to print well. What slicer, nozzle diameter, how many walls. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I use Slic3r Prusa Edition My nozzle is 0.35 mm, layer high was 0.28 mm, I guess. Perimeters 2, Top and bottom shell 2 solid layers.
