This is a case I designed with VE7KGV to allow us to mount a Raspberry Pi, 7 inch LCD and a Raspberry Pi Hat all in one case. It's intended purpose is to allow us to mount a DRAWS hat (http://nwdigitalradio.com/draws/) or a TNC along with a raspberry pi and LCD in a case for portable HAM radio use but really it could be used for anything that could benefit from a second pi hat or as just a nice compact LCD case.
There's a cutout on the Raspberry Pi side to allow access to the power, HDMI and speaker output ports. The cutout on the HAT side is to allow access depending on the HAT. The DRAWS hat from NW Digital Radio has the radio connections on that side.
The case is meant to allow using a buck converter so that 12 volts can be used as input voltage. The buck converter I designed it to use is the Pololu 5v 5A Step-Down voltage regulartor (https://www.pololu.com/product/2851).

Finally, the case back has been designed to allow mounting a RAM mount so that the whole thing could be mounted in a vehicle but it also functions as a great stand. You can print this at any resolution you'd like. The settings above are what I used and found produce very good results
You will need some hardware to get everything put together.
To attach the LCD you will need: 4 X M3 x 4mm
To attach the Raspberry Pi and Hats you will need: 7 x M2.5 x 8mm (Small wood screws will also work here)
If you want to attach the buck converter to allow 12v input you will need 2 x M2 x 16mm + 2 X M2 nuts and 4 x M2 washers
For the case back I used small wood screws with a flat head.
