This set of parts will allow you to mount a Bondtech BMG (left handed) combined with a Piezo Orion as a direct drive extruder for the V-King printer.
The fan shroud requires 3 M3 bolts and 3 M3 nuts to mount the 4020 blower fan. I'm using the 4020 blower because it fit better and because it's the same fan I'm using on another printer allowing me to standardize parts.
The wire loom requires 2 M4 bolts and 2 M4 nuts. The spacers are placed between the "bmg-mount" and the stock wire loom attachment.
To use the parts, assemble the "X Carrier (clean)" in the same fashion as the stock V-King X Carrier (and thanks to Roy Berntsen for providing the clean version of the carrier).
Once it is mounted you can mount the "bmg-mount" part as you would the Bowden Buddy and attach the opto-sensor in the same fashion as you would with the stock Bowden Buddy.
The rest should be self explanatory.
Fusion 360 source code is included.
If you want to modify this to accommodate a right-hand (standard) version of the BMG extruder, you would need to split the "bmg-mount" part and then mirror only the front side of it. With that modified part you can then print the fan shround by mirroring it in your slicer and it should theoretically work.
2019-02-23: Updated to change the fan shroud design to increase air pressure, moved it closer to the hotend and also updated the bmg-mount to provide more rear strength. If you printed the earlier version you only need to print those two parts to update it to this version.
