this is the correct side for slice it?

Yes should be no problem for printing without support if put model on long side and calibration of hole with drill bit 4mm is needed. .

Printed fine in Draft mode. Should have printed it in white, but I had loaded black into my Ender 3 and decided to run it. Flipped it on its edge and it printed fine without supports or rafts in a little over an hour. The hole was too tight when I tried it initially. Had to drill it out to fit the PTFE tube in. No big deal. It worked great for what I needed!

Definitively a must have. Since the O.D. of bowden PTFE tube is relatively the same, you should rename it ''Straight cutter JIG for any 1.75 PTFE tube". I downloaded the ''without screws" version.

And to improve efficiency, insert a filament inside the tube while cutting. I used to do that before dowloading this thing. Still doing it with this tool, and now my PTFE tube ends are flawless.

Thank you!

Uberjoe Thank you for advice.
English is not my native so i will take into account your recommendation on how to rename the thing.
I like your idea of inserting filament inside the tube while cutting.

Thank you!

MrLaFave I made some modification base on your note.
Now can download improved version of jig.

What size hardware is this designed to use?
And do you think that the hardware adds value?
It looks like you could just apply pressure with one hand so the tube doesn't move and cut with the other.

MrLaFave You are right.
I add holes for M4x18 just for fun in case if hand pressure not enough.
STEP file is included so you can remove the holes and make some knurl on the top of moving plate.

Nice, love the model, thanks for sharing.
