Hey my school mascot is a Velociraptor and we use 3d printers alot. I was wondering if you could please upload the single file and remove the Jurassic Park logo. Also I would edit it so your name would be on the bottom so people could know the true creator.

i"ll see what I can do.

I am having the same problem with getting the LowerBody.RAR or Stand.RAR to open. I'm using 7-zip to extract the files.

It was compressed using WinRAR (the trial version is free), please try and if it still fails I will figure a way to optimize the model so that it does not need to be compressed.

I can't get the LowerBody.RAR or Stand.RAR to open :(

Hi.

what software are you using to open them?

Yes, I recently updated the stand.
But the lower body is still original and it has already been printed, so it should work.

Hi Granat,
I was using Winzip - but I figured out if I mount them as an ISO I can open them.
Might've been obvious, but took me a bit to figure out.
Very excited to print this baby!

cant wait to see the results :)
Scale it up! Details shoud allow for a really large print :)

Seeing your clearly a very talented modeller - no chance of you tackling the end scene, with the rex and the falling banner? It came out as a diorama years ago, but no one is selling - and if they ever are, i don't imagine I'll ever be able to afford it.

To be honest - yes, I do plan to model it :)

As soon as i'm done with 2 current models, that are almost done.

I've almost finished printing this, photos will follow once i'm done, the only real issue I've had so far is that the bottom of the stand doesn't appear to be completely flat, so trying to print it results in a horrible first layer which then affects the rest. Very nice model though with excellent detail, I'm printing at 0.1 and the main dinosaur came out real nice. Had some issues getting the pieces to fit together, but nothing a bit of filing won't fix!

Very impressive overall

I'm glad you like it!
Cant wait to see the results :)

I will correct the base and also upload an uncut version soon.

Took me a while to find the time to print the base, took just under 4 hours in the end, I think the total print time was around 10 hours, maybe a little more. Really pleased with the results though, I posted a make so you can see the results :)

how you orientated the lower and upper body to get good results? because the cut-areas are pretty angled and im struggling with the arms...

try placing it flat, neck up. Supports for arms will be required though...

looks great :) hope you'll enjoy it !
