Maybe I'm just not getting it but.... on the front plate, the 4 mounting holes are supposed to be open so that the bolts can go through and hold the assembly to the extruder motor, correct? Currently they are blocked. Do they need to be drilled out or what's the deal?

I finally got to check out the STL. You can easily drill out the holes as those sections only measures 0.3mm thick. Keep in mind that these files are straight from Bondtech as they intended meaning they are not modified in any way shape or form by anyone else.

They are made like that so you don't need supports, most machines bridging will be good enough so you don't require them. As stated, just drill them out afterwards.

Thanks for uploading! Do you happen to know the dimensions of the alu spacer needed?

Sorry but I do not. I haven’t gotten around to printing this out and assembling it as I’ve been busy with another printer build. It just needs to be thick enough so the heat sink doesn’t interfere with the extruder body.
